About Me
Experience
I started doing counseling in 1999 as a trainee in my Master's degree program at CSU Sacramento. From there, I worked at local counseling agencies as a Therapist Intern before becoming licensed and afterward as well.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with so many wonderful clients. I feel lucky that I could be a part of their lives as they strived to make changes, big and small. For me, this is the most rewarding part of my job.
Before working as a counselor, I had another, very different career, as an engineer. Although I switched out of that profession, I greatly value the critical thinking and problem solving skills that I learned while studying and working as an engineer. I think that those skills make me a better therapist.
